From Cow to Cone

The Davies family were the most generoud hosts as they showed us round the farm, including the cow sheds, dairy and small batch ice cream making area. 

 

Following the tour we did a bit of impromptu market research for Gillian - she was particularly interested in our feedback on the new Damson & Sloe Gin flavour which the family has been experimenting with for a while - but we also gave some written feedback on their now famous Stilton ice cream.  We were then let loose on a whole variety of other flavours which we sampled in the farmhouse garden only yards from some heavily pregnant cows, one of which calved while we were there!
